Can anyone help me in looking another descendant of the Samuel Haney family who settled in Wabash Co.,Illinos about 1843. His first wife was Mahala Brumfield by whom he had two children: Mary Ann born in 1840, my gt.gt. grandmother and her brother James born in 1842. After Mahala's death he married Elizabeth (Rice) Brumfield by whom he had two more children: Montreville and a daughter Rachel. This Elizabeth was the mother to Mahala above (believe it or not). I would like to contact a descendant as I have been working on this family for a number of years and haven't moved to far on them. I know that Montreville and James had marriages and children in Wabash County and were around in early 1900's. Samuel died in 1876 and Elizabeth died in 1880. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Members of her family (John M., Marinda, and brothers and sisters) and an infant daughter (Eural Snyder b. 1895) are bruied at the Lick Pairie Cemetery. My father (Harold M. Snyder, b. 1900) listed Mt. Carmel as his birthplace. Her folks were members of the Lick Pairie Christian Church and are mentioned in an 1851 document from the church. John H. and Minnie moved to Louisville KY, I suppose for the railroad. I'm having all kinds of trouble making the fraternal Snyder connection. Any lead would be most gratfully appreciated.

Looking for information on Elminna Good Lutz.
She was born April 28, 1833 in Whitehall
Township, Lehigh Co.,Pa. She first appears in
the 1850 census of Wabash Co.,Illinois living in
the household of Daniel Stamminger and wife
Caroline. She was 17 and going to school. I
believe she was related to this family. Also I
believe that she was related to the Peter Dorney
that appears in this same census who had a Lydia
Good age 13 in his household. All of these
individuals came out of Lehigh Co.,Pa. Elminna
married Nicholas Lutz abt. 1858, marriage license
seems to have been destroyed with some of the
other Wabash County Court House records that were
lost. Her first son was William Rudolph, she also
had sons John and Henry and Adam. These names
ran in the Guth (This was the name before it
became Good back in Pa.) family. The Beals also
came into Wabash Co.,from Lehigh Co.,Pa.
Would greatly appreciate any help. Trying to
find her parentage. Al Gibbs

To any doing research on Armstrong family of Allendale, Wabash Co Il: My 2nd ggm was Asenath Dale Armstrong b- 1818 and married ca 1838 to Thomas Jefferson Armstrong. He was married before and had 2 sons: Berkley & Wickliffe. His 1st wife died and in ca 1838 he married my @nd ggm, Asenath (above) and they had 2 daukghters: 1st born in 1840 and 2nd, my ggm Mary Frances Armstrong b in 1847
In Armstrong Cemetery listings 17th from top is that of Asenath D. lArmstrong d- in 1842.
I uknderstand there was some bad vibes between Asenath & her stepson Wickliffe and when his fsather died in 1868 he ordered 3 headstones for T.J., 1st wife, Martha Crane and also one for Asenath.
Who, incidentally,l was very much alive in the 1850, 60 & 1880 census records and also produkced my ggm 5 years after her alleged death!
What family problem was, I do not know, but Asenath Dale Armstrong lived past 65th birthday.
I contacted Tombstone Project and was informed it DID NOT MATTER, whatever proof I had, IT WAS DONE AND THAT WAS THAT!!
We in genealogy strive to furnish proof of every generation and it seems a shame with so much of taxpayers money spent on such a project that it may contain errors and when proven error refuse to correct for benefit of those in future research from finding the REAL facts.
My ggm married Varnal Green Compton and the two families were pioneers into Wabash area. As early as 1803-15.
It seems awful that real facts are ignored becaukse someone will not accept the truth.

Looking for FULLERS;
I am not even sure Wabash is the correct county, however, evidences points in this direction. I have FINNEY FULLER born around 1849. I know
he sold some property there since I have a land deed. His son was CHARLES T. FULLER born 1886 and
married IDA MAE DENNIS. I have reason to believe
FINNEY'S father was SIMPSON FULLER that I found on
a 1850 census, except FINNEY was spelled PHINNEY?
Since records are hard to obtain due to the court house buring in 1859(or whatever) I have had a hard time finding anything. If you can help please o'please help!!
