Michael R. Alldredge

September 01, 1953 - December 12, 2018

Michael R. Alldredge, 65, of Grayville, Illinois, died Wednesday, December
12, 2018, at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.  He was born
September 1, 1953, in Grayville, the son of Joseph and Nellie (Pike)
Alldredge.

Mike was a retired oil field worker.  He enjoyed watching all types of
sports, and being with his friends.

Survivors include son, Michael D. Alldredge of Muenster, Texas; brothers
Derris (Eugenia) Alldredge, Alan (Sandy) Alldredge, all of Grayville, Larry
Alldredge of Crossville, Illinois; sisters Cindy (Lowell) Rhodes of
Grayville, Phyllis McKibben, Rose (Lester) Pritchard, all of Albion,
Illinois; grandson Jeffery Alldredge.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jack and Tom Alldredge;
sisters Mary Clark, Marilyn James and Linda Clark.

In keeping with Mike's wishes, his remains were cremated.  No services are
planned at this time.

Connie Sue Butler

(March 1950-February 24, 2017)

Connie Sue Butler, 66, of Cowling, Illinois, died Friday, February 24, 2017,
at her home. She was born March 6, 1950, in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, the
daughter of Billy Lee Trusty and Ruby Marie (Terry) Trusty. She married
Lewis Lee "Junior" Butler on October 11, 1969, and he preceded her in death
on August 17, 2015.

Connie was an active member of the Cowling Free Methodist Church and she was
an avid supporter of the Cowling Community Center. Among her interests were
flower arranging, shopping and cooking Sunday dinners for her friends and
family.

Survivors include her mother Marie Trusty of Cowling; son Aaron (Jennifer)
Butler of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter Leslie (John) Novak of Ashley,
Illinois; brother Billy Ray (Shannon) Trusty; sister Patti (Steve)
Funkhouser, all of Cowling; grandchildren K'Lee Novak, Drew Novak, Dylan
Speir, Jacob (Caitlinn) Speir, MaKayla Speir, Addison Butler, Graham Butler;
great grandchildren Paislee Novak and Rexton Novak Jones.

She is preceded in death by her father; husband; brother Ed Trusty; and
sister Tina Rhinehart.

Visitation is 5-8 pm, Monday, February 27, 2017, at Cook Funeral Chapel in
Grayville, Illinois. Funeral is at 10 am, Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at
Cook Funeral Chapel with burial in Antioch Cemetery near Cowling.

Memorials may be made to the Cowling Free Methodist Church and will be
accepted at Cook Funeral Chapel.

Glenn A. Higginson

December 28, 1939 - November 18, 2018

Glenn A. Higginson, 78, of Cowling, Illinois, died Sunday, November 18,
2018, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, Illinois.  He was born December 28,
1939, in Cowling, the son of Ralph D. and Rosa Marie (Webking) Higginson.
He was married to Jewell Lee (Spruell) Higginson on July 3, 1977, and she
preceded him in death on October 4, 2006.

Glenn was the proprietor of an oil field sales and supply company and a
member of the Northside Baptist Church in Grayville, Illinois.  He enjoyed
classic old cars, Honda Gold Wing Motorcycles, and playing golf, pool and
poker.

Survivors include son Bryan (Miranda) Higginson of Mt. Carmel, Illinois;
daughters Pam (Mark) Berkaw of Bluford, Illinois, Kellie Howard of
Grayville, Marilyn (Kenny) Smith of Fairfield, Illinois; grandchildren Nick
Smith, Clayton Higginson, Isaac Scott, T. J. Scott, Michael Scott, Blake
Higginson, Raymond Higginson, Chrissy Keyser; great grandchildren Brenna
Curtner, Kenna Keyser, Katheryn Keyser, Landon Smith, Joey Scott, Khloe
Bell, Brian Scott, Adrian Scott, Carmen Scott, Braelyn Brendel.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brothers Ralph L.
Higginson and Leon Higginson.

Visitation and funeral are Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Northside Baptist
Church in Grayville.  Visitation is 10 am and funeral is at noon.  Burial is
in Antioch Cemetery near Cowling.  Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville is in
charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Northside Baptist Church.

Ruby Marie Trusty

October 30, 1931 - July 22, 2017

Ruby Marie Trusty, 85, of Cowling, Illinois, died Saturday, July 22, 2017,
at Oakview Heights Continuous Care and Rehabilitation in Mt. Carmel,
Illinois. She was born October 30, 1931, in Centralia, Illinois, the
daughter of Charles and Bessie (Denny) Terry.  She was married to Billy Lee
Trusty on June 22, 1947, and he preceded her in death on July 28, 2003.

Ruby was a homemaker and member of the Cowling Free Methodist Church. She
enjoyed cooking and taking care of her home and family.

Survivors include son Billy Ray (Shannon) Trusty; daughter Patti (Steve)
Funkhouser, all of Grayville, Illinois; daughter-in-law Elaine Trusty of
Cowling; brothers Keith (Carolyn) Terry of Owensboro, Kentucky, Kenny
(Billie) Terry of Mt. Carmel; sisters Mary Jane Litherland (Bill) Waits of
Cincinnati, Ohio, Jean Glenn of Ohio, Lavonne (Jon) Webber of Marietta,
Georgia;

Grandchildren Stephanie (Robert) Hatcher, Maria (Marc) Neeley, Aaron
(Jennifer) Butler, Leslie (John) Novak, Sarah (Daniel) Heritage, Elizabeth
(Mike) Salinas, Rachel (Mike Martinez) Trusty, Shalanea (Doug) Bratcher,
Cody Bratcher, Luke (Andrea) Rhinehart, Matthew (Elizabeth) Rhinehart,
Morgan (Nick Nelson) Rhinehart, Mike (Lori) McWilliams; 35 great
grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Ed Trusty; daughters
Tina Rhinehart, Connie Butler; grandson Dustin Trusty; brothers Charles
Terry and Hugh Blackburn; sister Fae Foltz.

Visitation is 5-7 pm, Monday, July 24, 2017, at Cook Funeral Chapel in
Grayville. Funeral is 10 am, Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Cook Funeral Chapel
in Grayville with burial in Antioch Cemetery near Cowling.

Memorials may be made to Cowling Free Methodist Church and will be accepted
at Cook Funeral Chapel.
